 A 1 ¶ <<A Song of degrees of David.>> I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD An attitude we should develop and enjoy. Fellowship is easily neglected he1025.

The high priest in Jesus' time ascended the temple steps with water from the Kidron chanting these words. At the altar the water was poured into a basin. Then it and a basin of wine were poured out into a channel conducting them back to the Kidron. This represented water from the rock in the wilderness. Christ was that rock 1co1004. Blood and water flowed from His side at the crucifixion jn1934. After the pouring words from Isaiah 12 were sung is1202f.

C 4a  Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, -
 D 4b to give thanks unto the name of the LORD. -

 7  Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
 8  For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
