   When taking a broad view of the blowing of the trumpets of Revelation, we must ask why the Holy Spirit chose the trumpet motif and how that relates to the overall purpose of the vision. 0802e+.

6 9:13-21 Four angels released; horsemen prepared; three plagues; none repented.     The verse following the one quoted above applies to the sixth trumpet sounding. "For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. –Isa. 26:21. Woe Punishment of end-time wicked (The last plagues), 1500, foreshadowed by the Muslim power in helping suppress the beast of the middle ages.
